Formed back in 1973, Nelson Honey's impressive experience in the industry goes back four generations.
Their 4,000 hives are spread throughout the Nelson, Golden Bay and West Coast areas of New Zealand's Southern Island. This is stunningly beautiful country with pristine forests and bush. Many of New Zealand's finest hiking trails are in this region.
Due to the hive's location, they produce honey and bee products that are free from insecticide and other harmful sprays. An increasingly large body of research is indicating that when bee products are produced from such untouched environments, the therapeutic benefits are increased.
