Medihoney™ Antibacterial Medical Honey™ provides a natural alternative for wound healing and protection.
It is a sterile product containing 100% Medihoney™ Antibacterial Medical Honey.
One Product, Three Actions:
- Cleans: naturally cleans the wound of bacteria, dead tissue, dirt and debris by drawing it into the dressing.
- Protects: reduces the risk of infection.
- Heals: creates a moist, low pH environment that promotes wound healing.
Antibacterial Medical Honey™ creates a moist, low pH environment that promotes new tissue formation and wound healing. It cleans and protects the wound from bacteria, reducing the risk of infection.
Use
Antibacterial Medical Honey™ is suitable for use on surgical wounds, burns, leg and foot ulcers. Medihoney™ Antibacterial Medical Honey™ can also be used for general first-aid on cuts and grazes.
Apply a generous quantity of Antibacterial Medical Honey™ directly onto the wound or an appropriate dressing. Always read the label. Use only as directed.
Ingredients
Medihoney™ Antibacterial Medical Honey™ is a sterile product containing 100% Medical Grade Honey. All of the products in the Comvita® Medihoney™ range contain Medihoney™ Antibacterial Honey, which is a standardised medical grade of antibacterial honey collected predominantly from Leptospermum sp. (including Manuka).
