Information - Manuka Health Wound Gel with MGO Manuka Honey
Manuka Honey Wound Gel contains 94 % New Zealand Medical Grade MGO™ 250. Manuka Honey combined with gelling agents to provide a thicker consistency used in woundcare. Gelling agents keep the honey in place on the wound. This product is certified to contain MGO™ 250. This means it contains not less than 250mg/kg of methylglyoxal.
Use
1. Cleanse the wound using standard protocol. 2. Remove cap from tube by twisting it and peel off the safety seal. 3. Apply a generous coating of the Wound Gel onto wound site. 4. Cover the wound with a non-adherent dressing and secure with tape or bandage. Check the wound daily. If needed repeat cleansing protocol and reapply the Wound Gel with Manuka Honey and secondary dressing. Keep Dry while bathing or swimming. We recommend using a Manuka Health’s Wound Dressing with Manuka Honey.

Important Notes
Consult your physician if signs of infection occur: redness, swelling, fever etc.
